We have worked alongside a wide variety of different business types. What they have in common is the need to present and communicate their offering effectively to their customers and markets.
This is a list of sectors that we have worked with, followed by some examples of our work.
Organisation and successful delivery of the Fleet Business Show
We inherited the Fleet Business Show when the incumbent was no longer able to deliver the required elements. The priority was the selling of stand space. The venue capacity was 30 stands and once we were confident that we had achieved this, we turned our attention to the visitors. With speed networking, a key note address, and workshops alongside the exhibition, there was no shortage of content for us to use to promote the event. We have excellent reach in NE Hampshire and set ourselves the target of 200 sign ups pre-event. We had to settle for 197 which grated slightly, but there you go! We managed all of the 'on-the-day' logistics and were the go-to team for every query arising. We also had a stand of our own to man and business opportunities to generate.
The team for whom we were organising the event were delighted. There were constructive areas of feedback too about improvements. Becuase our working relationship with them is so positive, these were freely aired becuase everyone had the shared goal of wanting to make the event even better next year.
Website re-write for a training company
We work with a successful and fast growing training company. The company train people to use technical equipment so that they can achieve an accreditation which enables them to use this equipment on a commercial basis. The owner of the company has had a very successful career in IT and knows how to grow businesses. He also knows the areas in which he needs to bring in son external help. Writing is not something the owner enjoys nor something that he has a natural talent for. We re-wrote his website for him with a focus on the site visitor and what they would get from being trained by this company rather than by a competitor. We also emphasised the benefits of the training course rather than the features; a classic marketing trick but one that worked really well on this occasion. The business owner was delighted with the outcome and we look forward to being of further assistance.
Social Media Management for an aerial photographer
We have the pleasure of working with a thoroughly professional and decent guy who specialises in drone aerial and telescopic mast photography. The images that are captured are a sight to behold. Becuase of the elevation (above head height, but not from a plane), he achieves a real depth of perspectve in his images which are really captivating when seen. He is also meticulous when it comes to editing afterwards and creating the best possible finish. This attention to detail is spread across everything to do with his business, including marketing. We manage all of the social media output. We plan monthly campaigns across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn ensuring that the services he offers are given suitable visibility and that the markets he wants to influence are receiving his posts and that his following is steadily growing.
Profile marketing for an Italian restaurant
An Italian restaurant was facing competition from similar establishments – both independents and national chains. Our response with to implement a campaign encouraging customers to leave reviews which were used to make this restaurant stand out from others in the area. Using our contacts within a national marketing network, we were able to provide the restaurant with the legitimate claim of being one of the ‘most loved’ Italian restaurants in the country, based on the number of recommendations received. This was an effective and potent message given the level of competition.
Creating a customer database and email marketing for a fashion retailer
An independent retailer was providing a fantastic product and service, but not maximising its potential because it has no means of knowing of communicating with its customers. We helped build a customer database and a series of email marketing templates to tell customers about new ranges, special offers and events. The campaign is ongoing; the database of customers is growing as is the footfall of the business.
Media relations campaign for a professional services practice
A professional services businesses believed it was missing out on opportunities to comment in the media on "issues of the day" to its competitors. In a market where reputation was a strong currency there was a desire to rectify this. We identified the key publications that the client wanted to be seen in and then set about arranging meetings with key contacts to establish relationships and pitch stories of relevance and interest. A managed campaign of keeping in touch followed that resulted in a steady flow of articles and commentary thereafter.
